Prayers this morning for all in Haiti and their relatives. I gave $10. thru my text messaging and a friend is collecting supplies at her house. They have a plane lined up that will be taking supplies once a week. A definite give for me will be to gather stuff everyday and at the end of each week take to her house. God Bless All in Haiti.

Today in yoga I set my intention for my class to send healing love to all those in pain (physical, emotional, mental) and I knew my friend Leah was coming to class. It would be her first class since October. Leah has stage 4 breast cancer and has been surviving for 10 years but back in october she was diagnosed with tumors in her lungs, liver and lymph nodes in lungs. Yesterday was day 11 ... my brother's fiance's sister contacted me on facebook for help. She wanted to know about yoga, meditation etc .... she needed my guidance in where to start. I could have sent her on a really complicated path but instead I gave her 2 books to start with, that's right you guessed it. 29 Gifts and the other book was You Can Heal Your Life. I went to yoga and I was parked in front of the "Cookie by Design" store. As I was leaving, a butterfly cookie shone beautifully and I knew I was going to see my friend Sarah. She has done so much work on herself over the last few years that she is like the butterfly. (Just when the caterpillar thought life was over, it became a butterfly) so I went in the store and bought her the cookie. Not sure if anyone will agree that this is a gift and I am not sharing b/c I want people to be sad ..... I lost a loved one to suicide Jan 25, 2008 as a result I am a fan of AFSP on facebook. Ok so I woke up today knowing that the gift was going to be to myself. Tonight at Unity Church is a "Burning Bowl Ceremony" in which we write down all that we wish to say good riddens to from the past. Then we write a letter to "God" about all that we wish to manifest and change in our lives for 2010 , put it in a sealed envelope and the church will send to us this time next year.... great right? My intention was to start my gift giving with my first gift being a phone call to my Aunt Mary but it just didn't work out that way but today, VOILA' . I haven't talked to my Aunt since the day my younger brother died (Jan 25, 2008) and I called to give her the devastating news. I stayed in bed longer than usual. Jimmy wakes up and says "to what do I owe this pleasure" so I realized staying in bed late was a gift to him. When I finally got out of bed and went to Starbucks there was a guy in line who had obviously been partying for days or woke up and started but neverless everyone was ignoring him when he got to me I acknowledged him. I absolutely love the universe. My intention on Day 2 was to call my Aunt Mary who I haven't spoken to since my younger brother passed away almost 2 years ago. I had planned on starting my gift giving on January 1, 2010. ON December 31st I was at Starbucks .... I need to back track a bit. Every day I drive to starbucks and I drive thru a school zone. There is a crossing guard who waves (with 2 hands) to EVERY car that drives by him. It always makes me smile ..... so on the 31st he was in front of me in line and I knew it was my opportunity to tell him how I felt.
