Day 7-Can you hear me now?

I bought my son a new cellphone today because he had originally told me that the battery did not hold a charge and it was cheaper to buy the new phone with an upgrade than to buy a new battery. Then afterward, I found out that his battery was fine, it was just that some of his texts did not appear sometimes. OH, well, he snookered me. But that''s OK. And lucky me -I found 50 cents on the ground afterward. Goes a long way in helping to defray the cost. HaHa! I think I might take his phone for me and donate my cellphone to a cause. Anyone know one that takes cellphones?

Just today I saw Stop&Shop had a box with sign: Cellphones for Soldiers....they exchange them for phone cards for the troops. Also:NCADV.org....heard about it on TV but forgot what it is.Along the same lines: for giving away handheld games there is Games for Heroes online.

Texting is the world to these kids. He needed to delete those old texts. He had a good day. Nancy is right, most women's shelters will take cell phones for their clients.

Is he a teenager? Gotta love kids, seriously. Usually you can donate old phones to shelters for abused women. The phone will still call 911 even if it is not connected. Nice giving... Blessings
