29-Day Giving Challenge

Drove to the teacher recycling center and donated two printers and a box of books. At the self service grocery store (Aldi's), I noticed a woman who didn't have enough bags to pack up her groceries. I ran out to the car and got a bunch I keep in the trunk and gave them to her. I think before I started 29 gifts I would have thought about giving her those bags, but I might not have taken the time to go get them and bring them back into the store. She was really grateful.

How wonderful - grocery shopping is so stressful which makes your act of kindness even kinder.

Today I made my family a pre-turkey day dinner...with cranberry sauce, gravy, turkey legs, and mashed potatoes. It was fun and a lot less work than Thursday will be. I think they enjoyed that I took the time to do it though.
