29-Day Giving Challenge

As strange as it may seem, today was a hard day to GIVE. I didn't leave the house but once to drive my daughter to work. So I was trying to think of what I could do while answering emails and getting ready to pack orders.

Typically when I receive emails asking for Free Samples or people telling me that they want to try makeup or our skin care line for Free I send them to our Samples page. I will receive emails from people that want to get there Daughter, Granddaughter, Niece etc. some makeup but, they cant afford it and want me to send it to them for Free and then when they can afford it, they will buy some later. Well, I decided to pick some emails and just send people exactly what they asked for Free Samples!

So I think there will be some people out there that are going to be shocked when they open their mail boxes. I know there are people out there just looking for Free things and make up stories to get it. But, what if I sent to one person that actually wanted to try something and couldn't afford it? If I sent to one of those people I am sure there will be a grateful smile!

Looking Forward to Day Three and plotting my next GIVE! I thing the next 27 days of giving is going to have to be totally seperate from my business. I try to give as much as possible through our company but, I want the gifts I give over the next 27 days to have a more personal meaning!

I often don't see people since I work from home, too, so I know what you mean about the difficulty of it. I loved where you found the opportunity. And as for the next 27 days, don't forget that YOU could be the recipient of a give, too.

Something helpful I learned along the way was to honestly examine my motives in whatever I was doing...this always helps me look at my part of the interaction in a relationship. Am I trying to get attention, control, validation? If my motive are p...
