I guess this is where I am supposed to really reflect on the 29 days! I am not super good at this part, sorry, but I'll give it a try. Ithink the best part of participating in this website has been really making myself think about my day, and how giving a nd recieving really happens all around me. I have definately changed during this process, but this is just one facet of a whole new me. I am really searching my soul and connecting with God and Others around me. Learning to love unconditionally Myself and Everyone else as well. I just want to say thank you to Cami and all of You that have made me feel welcome here at 29 gifts. That has definately made a difference. I feel responsible to the People here and that has helped with the process. Ok, so that is about all the reflection I can muster, but here is day 29.
Today my children wanted to go to church so my husband and I took them to church. I do not normally care to go as I do not agree with most of the theology of the church, but it is a great community gathering for my children. My entire family attends and everyone know us at the church from some of the service projects I have been involved with. One great thing that happened was the preacher talked about recycling at the top of his sermon. I was extremely happy about that. I also gave $10 during offering.
5 best things from today:
1. I was givin about 30 pounds of game meat...dove, pheasant and venison. We do not have to buy any meat for a while.
2. I took a nap today.
3. Cold front blew in dropped the temp and rained.
4. Had lunch with my family anf my grandparents (that we do not see on a daily basis) paid.
5. Had a nice meeting talking about our Big Bend camping trip.
Love to You All and I will start round 2 tomorrow!!!!!
