29-Day Giving Challenge

Didn't know that I was going to start this today but apparently I did!  My co-worker saw my book today and asked me about it.  She wanted to read it so I gave it to her.  Gift #1. I am anxiously awaiting to see how this will come about in my life.  I am normally a quiet person until you get to know me...and I don't go up to people very well...So..we shall see! I also don't know what to write here so I guess that once I get into this I will know...This is exciting though!

You are doing just fine! And it does get easier. There are many ways to give. If you look under Forums here, at the top of the page, it has several different ways to give. Take care, see you tomorrow..

It is very exciting! Please let us know how it all goes. I love to read and I know it has to be a fabulous book!

What you wrote it just right...and whatever you write in the future will be perfect.  This is a place to share the gifts you've given, and the ones you've received if you'd like.  A place to reflect on the whole thing.  A place to meet others who are doing it, encourage and support them, and get ideas on gifts you can give.

A fabulous first gift I'd say!  It's nice when you know someone else who's read the book and is doing the 29 gifts.  And don't worry about being quiet until people get to know you - all types of people are doing the 29 gifts.  Maybe you won't walk up to a stranger with a flower in hand to give them (though maybe one day you'll decide to try something new!) but whatever you do, simply give.

And remember it doesn't have to be material.  Giving advice or encouragement are gifts.  So is listening.  So is writing a thank you note.  As you read other people's blogs, you'll realize how many gifts are yours to give.

Welcome.  Thanks for writing.  Am looking forward to more posts:)
