September 1. the date marks the first day of fall as well as the first day of my fifth round. I am wishing for this round to be a celebrating of abundance, of what I have accomplished and what I can share and give. A friend asked just yesterday about my long-term goals and I realized I have very few. Thus, I am hoping for some clarity and for some new ideas for projects and for the future.
My gift for the day was to review and provide some feedback on an essay written by a friend from univeristy, it was about the mental health of chinese migrant workers. Aparently, Chinese resident can only access healthcare and to some degree education in their home region, or hukou, which make it problematic for migrant workers. I learned something new. :)
