Shared the TED talk "The power of vulnerability" with friends and it's touching for many. Actually I think the connection derives from the understanding how vulnerable others are just like us. But we are as potential as we are vulnerable.
A long waited reply from an application came back and I just need to prepare 3 more question to pass it, that's a relief, got support and new ideas from my coworkers. Haha, yet it's funny that these three remind me of my motivation to serve, and in order to serve, I need to be stronger. (Yet it won't help if I just pretend to be strong and ignore/escape from my vulnerability as human being, on the contrary, I need to face my vulnerability as well as others' and grow from it.)
Our team enjoyed a special summer lunch together, with basil flatbread, veggie salad, steamed corn and papaya-milk mousse.
Called Mom, it's raining constantly in her city so she didn't get out a lot. Good thing is she seems to be content, being able to devote herself in the study of Buddhist literatures.
Kept my searching on how to fix the drainage problem, and finally find someone that might really resolve this (instead of patching here and there).
Filled out the custom-form for a friend mailing a package to her mom.
