29-Day Giving Challenge

Been spending time giving but not writing!

Money, flowers, food...today we had the neighbors over for brunch:  quiche Lorraine, homemade rolls, fruit plus green salad and coffee cake made by my daughter, my bright light :) .  It was the first time we'd had these neighbors over, and we all enjoyed ourselves.

I had opportunities to give  money such as a donation, or a secret meter feeder, etc. this past week.  Coffee one day, and of course more flowers!  I had "forced" many branches of forsythia inside, and so wanted to give out a lot of that. It's still cold here and the forsythia is't blooming  yet outside.

Mormons came by my home today and I gave them as much patience as I could!  I tried to tell them nicely how we weren't interested, etc. but they kept asking questions, while the door stayed open and made the house cold!  So I eventually had to tell them I had to go.  These people are hardworking, generous, and ethical folks.  So I don't like to brush them off.  A couple of years ago I invited 2 young men in to hear more about their religion.  My faith is in Christ, not Joseph Smith, and so that is that.  I would like to peek inside one of their temples, however! :)

Well, I am almost at the end of my 29 days.  I already know of a number of things I will do or give this week, but the blogging is the difficult part for me.  So...I may pop in a little note when I happen to feel the muse but until then, happy giving everyone!  Keep it up and God bless you!
