Seems like there have been little gifts from my side these days, but the world has been giving to me constantly. My gifts: today and yesterday some tip in the "Zebra". And today took some laundry of my roommate with me when I did my own. Ah, and yesterday and today some cookies to my roommate and his girlfriend, and some advice on a health issure. Calling for help when a drunk man lie half-conscious in the street, also yesterday. On shabbat (saturday :) ): prayers for friends. I had asked Baha'i-friends back in Germany, if they liked some prayer on behalf of them in the holy places, since they are supposed to have a special power. Some send me their wishes, so I said the prayers they liked to be said, thinking of them, when I went to the shrine of Baha'u'llah.
Friday: a copy of the harmony-code to someone who offered me a place to sleep when I was stuck in some town I visited. And help to the friend of a friend with translating his letter to a German friend into German.
Wow, looking on this, it seems a lot more, than I thought. I do not think about it so much more. I do not plan in advance. I just start seeing a gift in things I naturally do.
So see, what I got "back" (so much!): A cheap ride to the sea of Galilee, since some shared-taxi-driver catched me and some other people before mounting the bus, offering a cheaper ride (sorry, still, for the bus company). On friday some food and nice conversation when I visited the museum a friend is working at in some place at the sea of Galilee (and a short private tour around the museum). And after a hitch-hike back to some other place.
A place to stay overnight, when I was lost hiking at the sea of Galilee, and some cake and a shower to recover from the day. Next morning a free ride "home" to Haifa with a baptist Chinese tourist group, along with seeing one more holy Christian place (where Jesus turned water into wine), and the gift of a small Chinese flag.
On sunday some shared food with friends in the "Zebra", and their lovely company. An a ride home in the car, so I wouldn't have to walk the steps.
Today the food my roommate's girlfriend made, and a free haircut by her. Wow. So many things. I am really blessed.
