C01- Letter
Our chief-editor decided to leave the States and go to Canada for 2 years. Although she will still work with us via internet, the impact is pretty strong since we are a small team just established this year. After all my internal debating for 3 days thinking "that's not reasonable at all," I took a bath last night and finally choose to understand her choice and wrote an email to express my best wish for her. I chose to be as warm as I could as even though I only knew her for a few months, yet I already received a lot of warmth from her. I also told her how much I admire her for being a simple, open and energetic person, and how much I wish her to live just like this, being true and happy. Though I never really understand her choice and can't help thinking she may not come back anymore, it's a great relief for me to release the resentment and we were able to interact openly today when discussing our landscape project. I'm glad for being able to see this event in more constructive way.
