It was my turn to help in the kitchen yesterday. The chef have some idea about a desert with sesame so I put the black sesame in blender, and the result is a sesame paste with great scent. So she decided to put it in sticky rice ball today, so I learned how to wrap it with sticky rice paste and rub into balls. The results were great and everyone thought we bought it somewhere from the store.
During the making of rice balls, I got a phone call from a certain organization to raise fund for fire disaster survivors. At first I got a little annoyed because it sounded like that they got my name and phone number from other fund raisers hadcalled, and they have similar procedures of raising funds. He tried to explain further, then I think: ok this is a chance of sharing that come to knock my door so I agreed to make a donation that will help someone in need.
