I am sure many do not know this, but my time is very limited. I work extremely long days, and with that being said, although I would like to be able to share daily my activities in this challenge, I am not able to give daily updates. However, I will update when the opportunity arises that I have an open slate of time. :-)
I started the challenge this past Friday and started it as day one. To keep thing short and sweet.. on a daily roll call, this has been my boys and my participation. :-)
Friday/3/23:
Me: Gave a friend some extra gas money.
B & A - typically at one another's throats for more than most the day when in close quarters spent the evening having a movie night sleep over in oldest son's room without ANY fighting. The boys called it bonding time, their gift to the challenge.
Sat. 3/24
Me: Baked Irish Soda Bread, Dark Forest Rye, and Beefy Rye bread for brother in law as a gift.
B: Picked up fallen merchandise from store shelves and put them back in place through out the store.
A: Picked up trash from store floor and disposed of properly.
BOTH boys: Took lose carts in parking lot and returned them to the stalls.
Sunday 3/25
Me: Wrote two articles free of charge for a customer. Help nephew attempt to retrieve auger from lake while the boys picked up trash. Okay.. so I only filmed it.. LOL!
B: Picked up trash from the park.
A: Picked up trash from the park.
Mon. 3/26
Me: Gave extra press release submissions at no charge to a client.
B: Picked up sticks from neighbors yard.
A: Helped his brother do his chores.
Tues: 3/27
Me: Pitched in with my sons to purchase a kitchen play set for my Nephew and his wife's three little girls. We cashed in can's which typically goes into the boy's bank accounts and they gave that towards the play set. :-)
Okay.. so that is where we are to date.. Will update again when the opportunity presents itself! Until then.. may you all have a blessed and thoughtful day!
