Yesterday was Day 1. I was very excited to get started because I have been thinking about doing this ever since I finished reading 29 gifts, about 3 weeks ago. I was a little worried that I wouldn't know where to start, but an opportunity provided itself to me about an hour after I decided to take on the challenge. I was at my first yoga class and we were asked to get some blankets from the shelf. The only ones left were those at very top of the bookshelf. I am really tall and never have a hard time reaching anything. I got my blanket and turned around to walk back to my mat. I took one look at the sheer terror on the woman's face behind me as she looked up at the shelf and knew immediately what gift I had to give. I gave her the blanket, the gift of my height.
