29-Day Giving Challenge

- Today is Day 1 -

Not sure what to expect out of this whole experience, but I'm hoping it will be more therapeutic than anything!  I live a crazy busy, stress filled life, so I'm hoping by taking a moment to slow down and reflect on each of the 29 days, it might remind me what I'm doing it all for...that is life in general. Today I had lunch with my friend Amy at the iconic "Machine Shed" off of I-80 in Iowa and explained to her what I'm embarking upon.  Amy is a Flight Attendant with United, so I gave her a card I made up that said "Heavenly Acts" on the front of it, on the back it said "Pass it On". What I asked her to do is take the card somewhere far away on her next flight and give the card away, anywhere she wants, along with $10. The trick is she has to do it Anonymously.  For example: Leave the money and the card with the attendant at a toll booth and the next person who goes through pay for their toll, but the attendant has to give the card to the person who gets it for free, so that they in-turn will Pass It On. They are able to track where the card goes by logging onto:  www.facebook.com/heavenlyacts
