29-Day Giving Challenge

I decided to call a friend today after learning that her father had passed away. At one point in the conversation I asked her if she had a lot of arrangements to make for the services. She told me that things had been mostly taken care of, but that she was struggling with what to wear. She needed appropriate outfits for both herself and her daughter. I offered to do a shopping trip for her if she gave me sizes and a little guidance. She accepted my offer and I hit the mall and got a few outfits for her daughter to choose from. I was able to loan her a few things from my own closet as well and a few hours later I dropped everything off at her house. It felt good to be able to help her with this errand!

That was very thoughtful. I think the last thing your friend would want to do under the circumstances would be to go shopping, so I'm sure your thoughtful gift was most appreciated.
