29-Day Giving Challenge

It was a pretty good day. When I got to school this morning, I decided that I would smile at and say hi to every custodian, lunch lady, and administrator that I saw. For the most part, I was very successful. I could see that they were happy to be noticed by one of so many apathetic teenagers. This made me pretty happy through much of the day. At lunch I noticed that one of my friends didn't have any lunch money but had been planning on buying a lunch. I handed her enough money for lunch. She thanked me and told me that she would pay me back. After "arguing" about it for a minute, I told her to pay it forward instead. This made me especially happy because I knew that this would be benefiting someone else who I might not even know. It was exciting to start a chain reaction. Today I gave with excitement.
