Day 10 - A Tip and My son is learning to give
Today I doubled my tip to my hair colorist. I have been seeing her for 27 years. Oh my!
Also, my son told me that he was studying pollution in science today and his teacher told them to pick up 3 pieces of litter tonight - for extra credit. He walks home from school and he decided to pick up all the litter he could carry on his 1 mile walk. He had about 14 cans, bottles and cups. He called me at work when he got home. He told me what the teacher said and that he could not stop at 3 pieces of litter. He said he might bring a bag and do it on other days too. So I am counting this a give (teaching my son to give) and a recieve. I was so proud of him! It made me think that we should do that sometime as a family. I know it would feel good doing it!

yes, you should be proud of your son ... and proud of yourself for passing on the giving to him
Sometimes around Earth Day I do a clean-up walk with my daycare kids.
