I took the kids to see Santa. Our local park had a Christmas in the park where you can take a horse carriage ride to see Santa. It was a cold rainy and windy evening. It was so cold I almost hesitated loading us up in the car. When we got there they had lots of fun crafts for the kids to do. Also, we had hot chocolate and cookies to eat. They had forms to fill out regarding info about your child such as name of teacher, favorite toys, any pets, etc. We didn't know what to expect since this was our first year. My 12 year doesn't believe in Santa anymore but she loves to play along for her 5 year old sister. It was a lot of fun seeing my daughter Ella get so excited when Santa asked her questions about her family and our cat Shadow. It was really special that each family got to spend one on one time with Santa instead of the usual long lines at the mall. We donated money to the fund so they can keep the tradition going year after year. We definitely will go next year.
