Yesterday was not the easiest day for me. Family, work, nothing felt right or good. I didn't really think I would be able to come up w/ a gift at all, I just wasn't feeling "giving." But on my break at work I noticed one of my co-workers had brought those yummy "World's Best Chocolate" bars, as a fund-raiser for her daughter's marching band. I remembered I have a 5 dollar bill in my purse. Yay! I bought 5 and left them out in our work area for my co-workers. I hope they loved them! I can't say my day was awesome, but it did get better. My family was very kind after I got home (despite my earlier grumpiness), and that little bit of giving really did remind me that how I feel about my life is in my control.

A lousy day would have made it tempting to eat all 5 of those yourself!! Way to go!
Good for you. It's amazing how one little act can turn things around.
You brightened the day for many with your kindness, Sasha!
I'm glad things turned around for you....I know I can say myself, been there done that with the non-giving feeling. But you found a way, lifted many spirits including your own.
