Day 12 - condolence on the passing of a pet
I sent an e-mail to my neighbor today telling her I was sorry to learn of the passing of her dog. They have 2 dogs, one her husband found wandering around at work. After no one claimed it, they adopted it. They have a German Shepherd and this was a Collie, so another big dog. It was also old, hard of hearing and limped. They cleaned him up and gave him a good home for a few years. I told her how nice it was of them to do that and that I was sorry he had died, even though it was his time.

They were wonderful to make a home for him, he lived a good life with them. I am sure they appreciated your kindness.
