Day 12 - Free Parking

My gift for today may not seem like much but we live in a condo across the street from a community college and street parking can be very difficult.  Our neighbors have a couple of older sons at home and 4 cars between them all.  We have two spaces and one car.  We will be traveling a lot for the next few weeks, so I let them know the dates we will be gone so they could park in our spaces.  They are always so appreciative.  In return they offered to water my plants while we are gone. 

It is nice to know your condo neighbors though it is not always easy to get people to open up.  I try to always greet the other people when we bump into each other and give them a smile.  Sometime it is returned, sometimes not, it doesn't matter, I just hope it makes them have a better day.  I know I do.

I so need to get to know more of my neighbors.  I've lived here ten years and while I know some by sight or their cars, I don't even know their names.  Thanks for the inspiration today!

Nice give. I can relate to your condo experience. When I had my condo, I went through the same thing. It's great that you try anyway & have a better day because of it.
