My son was required to bring in a pair of protective gloves to art class for a soap carving project. They needed to be in by Monday. Yesterday he came home and told me that anyone who brought their gloves in early was allowed to start drawing a mock up of their carving. If you didn't bring in your gloves early, you had to sit there with nothing to do. We had not purchased ours yet. Needless to say, Mama Bear was not happy and sent an e-mail to the teacher addressing this. We did go out and buy his pair yesterday. We picked up an additional pair and I told him to give them to someone else in the class whose parent had not had time to go out and get them. Money is tight right now, so this is a meaningful gift to me.

That was so generous of you, Lefty....as soon as school starts, there is always something extra needed, or fees to pay, or supplies not listed. I know your gift will be appreciated.
Appreciated as well, I am sure! :o)
