Day 13 - Let the Party begin
Tonight I volunteered to join the social committee at our Condo and to help plan the summer BBQ. It is so hard to get people to volunteer, we have 260+ units and everyone seems to be so busy that they don't have time to do anything for the good of the community. It is not a huge commitment but I travel a lot so I have been hesitant to join in. Today I decided that I need to be more involved and get outside of my comfort zone. It felt good to say Yes for a change. They only do two big events a year so it should be fun.

That would be so much fun. I've thought about trying to start a block party on my street (I live in a subdivision that has three short streets that all dead end), or hosting a holiday cookie exchange. That's as far as it gets is a thought. Good for you!
