29-Day Giving Challenge

Hop, skip and a jump out of bed! Yeah right. My bed was toasty and I wanted to stay there...but I got up anyways. Didn't want to miss out on the adventures the day and the universe had in store for me.

Picked Linda up from home and dropped her off at work. Spoke to my mother on the way to work from there. She is doing well and missing my brother. He flew back to Boston to see his kids.

Had to stop at Starbucks to make sure they didn't miss me and on top of my Triple Vente, 8-pump, upside down extra caramel, caramel macchiato; I ordered a piece of their delicious Banana Nut Loaf. Double Yummy!

Came into work and have been planning 2 conferences and a departmental dinner. I love this kind of stuff.

My gift...I sent a very complimentary email to the event planners at one of the hotels I have been dealing with and copied her boss on it. She has been very helpful and responsive and I wanted to make sure I let her know how much I appreciate her efforts. I BELIEVE that too many people are willing to write, text, call whatever to complain...but not nearly enough to say "HEY, YOU ROCK!!!"

Her boss emailed me a thank you for letting her know that Lori was doing such a good job of taking care of me and our event. She said she would be sure to put my email in Lori's file. YEAH!

Tonight? Going to the grocery store. Now most people don't enjoy going to the grocery store, but I do. I like to see how much money I can save. Did you know that Wal-Mart will match any advertised price of their competitors. Now they don't do buy-one-get-ones, but they will price match. So whatever amount of money I save by the price matching and the coupons I cut and print off the internet, I place that savings towards my hobby. Scrapbooking!!!!

After the grocery store...I will be watching Elina for my daughter while she works. Being a grandmother is awesome. Especially when you have a little princess like mine.

Love to all.
