Today I am lending a suit jacket to a neighbor. She sent out an e-mail asking if anyone had one for her son for a trick-or-treat costume. I tend to have a varied assortment of clothes because I have four boys AND because I get a lot of hand-me-downs. I checked and we had one that would work. It is kind of nice and I know on trick-or-treat night, boys are not thinking about taking care of their clothes (mine certainly aren't!). So I literally went back and forth several times trying to decide if I should lend this. In the end I decided: a) I didn't pay for that jacket, b) probably nothing is going to happen to it, c) chances are my kids will never end up wearing it for good. So I e-mailed her this morning and she was so excited and even said, we'll take good care of it. Now I feel a little sheepish about the whole dilemma, but at least I came to a giving decision!

First of all...you do not have a selfish bone in your body!!! I also would have thought this one through....you were very kind to do this.
You did and good for you and them! Way to give, Lefty! :o) xo
