Day 14 - Music for all
Today I ordered violins and music stands for a school in Tijuana that I help support. I get a great deal from a vendor in LA and I can pick them up next week while I am there. The school is called the The Americas Foundation, it is over 20 years old and is supported by mostly donations and whatever the students families can afford. My part is supporting the music program by providing the string instruments, some donated and some purchased. Everyone gets to play, this time I bought 1/2 size violins for the 3rd and 4th graders. I can't wait to deliver them after I get back to town.
