29-Day Giving Challenge

I had soo much fun playing poker with my friends the other day, that I decided I'm going to train and try and get good enough to play online for real money!
I have a couple guy friends who do that for a living actually, and I received a book on texas hold em and everything you need to know about the game. I've been playing for practice online now and I have lots of fun pretending that my winnings are real :)
So today I played around a bit at home and read a bit of the book. I made dinner for Kyle and I and it was actually really good. I'm always a bit nervous when I try out a new recipe because I'm no chef, and it's been alot of trial and error. I'm a big fan of pasta but i've never tried a recipe with artichokes in it. It is so delicious!
here is the recipe if you want to try!

half a box of angel hair pasta
1 jar of tomato sauce (I used prego "onion, garlic, and herb")
3-4 large mushrooms (chopped)
3-4 artichoke heads (I used some canned artichokes in the smallest size)
1/2 cup Zuchinni (shredded)
Parmesan! as much as you like

After (or while) making the angel hair pasta, throw in all the ingredients and the sauce together in a large saute pan on medium-low heat and cover. After the angel hair is ready I just put it all together in the sauce pan and mixed it up and added a little more parmesan on top!
suuuuper easy, and better than I was expecting haha

I'm hoping a college student will read my recipes and appreciate them. I feel weird giving so many recipes when I don't consider myself a very experienced chef. I just get so excited when I make something and it turns out really good.

We're having our neighbors over tonight for some drinks. Kyle and I are leaving for Nashville in a couple days (to visit his dad and stepmom) and I may never come back to Eau Claire, WI.
good night everybody!
