Day 16: Enjoying the music
I am utterly exhausted from all of the walking today (and previous two days) while on vacation. But, my gift today was something I received as well. On the final leg of our journey, an elderly gentleman was playing the accordian in the subway station. It was very hot down there, but he was smiling and playing some jazz - a favorite of mine. I tipped him he gave me the most genuine smile and thank you. That was enough for me, but the joy of listening to his beautiful music was also a great gift to me.
