Day 18/Gift 18

We had two girls in to "shadow" my boss.  I tended to them when they weren't with my boss.  Took them where they needed to be, got them their lunch, gave them a "special side tour" of the Capitol to rooms I think are absolutely beautiful and are not included on the official tour.  They were so excited and appreciative.  My boss introduced each of us to them and our rolls we play.  When she spoke of me.....she said, well, Diane is like my best friend.  She takes care of me all the time and everything.  That was very nice for her to say.  Although, it did scare me too.  That is a lot of responsibility to be your boss's best friend.

My gifts received:  Compliment from my boss. Compliment from a stranger about my hair.  An AWESOME evening spent with my best friends, my sisters.  Another nice evening w/hubby.  With his hand injury, I have bathing him.  He mentioned how he liked this "bonding time" together.  :)  I love my hubby so much.

How wonderful to be appreciated, Diane! You are on the receiving end of deserved praise and appreciation, it doesn't get any better than that!  Of course the great giving you do for others  is bringing about all of the positivity full circle!
