Day 2

Monday was a big day for me.     I had an appointment with a breast surgeon to exam a lump in my right breast.     It took all my courage to walk through the door of the office, to not cancel the appointment, to be brave.     The doctor was prompt and smiled with ease.    After a brief hello she said, " I think you have a cyst but let's make sure".     I was a luck one, the lump was just a cyst and easily drained.     We spoke for 30 minutes about family history and what to consider in the future.     I left her office feeling incredibly light and joyful.     How can I begin to express my good fortune.     I started by writing my new doctor a thank you note for her time, her honesty and my appreciation of her difficult job.     I feel so blessed and want to share my goodness with those around me.

My gift today was a simple thank you note to express my deep graditude.
