Day 2
I was a little worried about my gift today. It was New Years Day and my plan was to stay at home in my sweatpants and do projects around the house all day (could this count as a gift to myself?????? hmmmmm...I actually think it COULD!....) Anyway, Randy and I played some games of Farkle after breakfast and I wasn't coming up with any ideas. I started working on this journal and realized that I mus be a TOTAL loser if I fail at this on day 2! As I walked by our 15 year old son Dylan's disaster of a bedroom (and started to shut the door so I didn't have to look) an idea struck. I spent the next half hour cleaning his room (something I haven't done since he was in preschool). Not that he really cares, but me NOT nagging at him about a messy room WILL be a gift to him:)
