Day 2 was a bit more practical. I gave my stack of newspapers that I would normally put in my recycling bin to a local church that recycles the papers and uses the money to help fund their many social justice related ministries. My favorite give of the day though was to a cute elderly couple I ran into in a medical building. They could have taken the elevator but took the stairs instead, even though the wife had a rough time making it to the top, they still powered through. I told them I was proud of them for using the stairs, that so many other people take the easy route and that I thought they were awesome! Age is just a number!
