29-Day Giving Challenge

Yesterday on my way home from work I felt rejuvenated. Thrilled and excited.

I'm not a morning person, but I know that it is in my best interest to get up early. It does not get me to work early, but rather helps me from being late. I have always thrived on the last minute rush. I guess that is why when I have extra time, I still do not end up being early, I still end up on time or late.

Today was no exception. I have to mention that i love my job as an Ed consultant to early childhood schools in my region, but my region is very large and the nearest campus I visit is an hour away.

Bottom line, I'm in the car most days 3 to 4 hours. There are benefits such as listening to books on tape. I do think sometimes that the rides do not lend well to my health.

I did give a small gift today, I cleaned the kitchen. I absolutely love to cook, but hate cleaning the kitchen over any other chore. My dear husband ALWAYS does it for me, but today I got home before him and surprised him.

I look forward to tomorrow.

I'll bet he had a smile on his face when he saw a clean kitchen.....I am with you, cooking is fine, clean up is not,hehe..but it has to be done. I wish you all the best with your job and look forward to more of your blogs..

That's awesome! I know your husband appreciated it! I drive a lot for my job as well and I know how difficult it is! The gift was a beautiful gesture!

What a wonderful gift!

It always seems that my husband ends up with dish duty -- emptying and reloading the dishwasher or handwashing pots and pans.  I'm trying to be a bit more mindful of that!

I hope the rest of your challenge is FULL of blessings!
