29-Day Giving Challenge

Day 2 / Day 3 - Gifts are not always obvious

Day 2
Thanks to the help of user genuine, I recognized that I made my second present already by beginning this blog and making it public to some of my friends. Sometimes it needs some courage to show parts of your life to other people, even if they are mostly friends.

Day 3
This was a nice day/night. I visited a good friend in another town and we went to a home party by some other friends of mine, and there was a great number of people I haven't seen in a long time. I'm thankful to my friend, who came with me, even if she didn't know anyone there. She was able to get to know some people on her own, thus I had the freedom to go around and have good talks with many of my friends.
After 2 or 3 hours we continued our journey to a near club, to dance the rest of the night to great music by depeche mode. In the middle of the night my friend got tired and wanted to drive home by a "night bus", but I drove her home (which wasn't far away), so she needn't go the way from the bus station home on her own in the night. She wasn't sure if she could accept my small offer, but no way, this was my small present for today.

I returned to the club and continued dancing for 2 hours, I had a great time. Funny, one of the most important heads in my company was also there in nice casual style, greated me and had his fun there, too.
I like it when people don't identify with their roles and positions and are able to be just themselves. I like this guy.

Thanks for this great day!
