I have needed much help in the last 3.5 weeks, since my motorcycle accident. My brother has been helpful, driving me places, visiting me, and checking up on me, even buying a lunch or two! My boyfriend of 4 years has done nothing but care for me and support me through this, as he has an accident earlier in the year, and I took care of him during that time. He now sees the patience and constant care that I put in to keep him together. :-) And my Mom, she came up twice (a 200+ mile drive from her home to mine) to care for me and take me to appts. she's so loving, with such a huge heart. Yesterday I stayed in for most of the day, and then had a meeting to attend in San Francisco. I had given words of encouragement to my friend Bruce, but it didnt seem like much. I treated my two dinner friends to their first Fried Pickles, that was awesome. :-) it felt like a meager day for me, giving. day 1 was so "productive." I will be more proactive today.

Taking care of yourself so that you may heal is also a gift, self-care. It's wonderful that you have a great supportive family and friends to help you through...take care, have a great weekend.
Take care and heal soon. With the TLC you are getting I know it is more pleasant...
