I sent "Thinking of you" cards to my 2 cousins as the 3rd anniversary of their mom's death approaches.  She was my favorite aunt.

the anniversary of a loved one's death brings up so many emotions...it's really nice when someone else remembers and recognizes the day is important too. my condolences to you and your cousins...we never really get over losing someone we love, we just learn to live without their physical presence in our lives. This is soooooooooo nice! As a soul who has lost a big handful of loved ones along the crazy road of "life." I can tell you it is a true honor when others "remember" and it is REALLY heartwarming. I love talking about my father and cousin, but sometimes think others don't want to bring them up for the fear of seeing me cry- I will never stop crying and it really is a more positive round of tears when acknowledging special memories. Glad you took the time to send them some love. xo
