Day 24: Gift of time for the kids
I had the opportunity to visit some of my family last night that I have not seen in two years. It was wonderful to see them. My cousin as two children, both pushing teenage years. The boy is VERY active and talks non-stop. I knew they were excited to have me back around after so long, so I made sure to dedicate extra time to playing games with them. We went and fed their 4H show pigs, played outside, played Battleship, and a penny and dice game and I can't quite remember. And while I really wanted to spend extra time talking to my aunt, uncle, and adult cousins, I knew it was more important to the little ones that I dedicate time to them. It felt good to do so.
