Day 24 - Holy Guacamole!
Today I took out my parents and a close childhood friend (& family) to dinner at Chevy's; my favorite Mexican restaurant. We are pretty much regulars here now, LOL. We had a great time, and the food & service were both fabulous - as usual.
I always have coupons for Chevy's, but I noticed my coupon for 20% off any entree was expired (shoot!) I figured I would try anyhow... When the waitress came around (pretty sure she was the manager), I pointed out that it had just expired a few days ago, and she said she would take it anyway. Not only did she accept the coupon, but she gave us 20% off the total bill instead of just one entree! Seeing as there were 6 of us and we had an appetizer, meals & dessert, this was quite a nice savings.
So, in addition to my gift of paying for everyone's meals today, I also made sure to tip our waitress a little extra, based on the original amount before the 20% discount. I love www.Chevys.com!

You gave, received and then gave again all in a matter of a few hours... so wonderful you went through the cycles so quickly and without a moments pause to think about giving again!! Love this.
