Day 29 (a little late)

I'm posting a little late about my 29th day of giving but I had such a nice day last Wednesday! I was so happy to make it and I wanted to make my gift special. It was a co-worker's birthday so I organized the card-giving and bought her the perfect card. It made her smile for the next two days. We had cupcakes with her to celebrate. We were at the end of a three week haul at work where we had no time and were striving for the holiday weekend (the light at the end of the tunnel). We all looked awful and tired but that little break in the day made everything a little better. Then we spent the rest of the day checking out where outdoor movies were playing this summer and making plans to go see them together.

 

I have continued giving each day after my 29 days were up and it has made me so happy. One day I became a member of Planned Parenthood and donated $35. I was home all weekend with my mom helping her get ready for camping and watching my nephews which was such a blessing. I'm going to start another proper 29 days soon and I'll get back to blogging. Thank you all again for your support.

I love it Maggie! I can relate to continuing after my first round. I took an 8 day "break" but really the break only involved not blogging because this challenge has made giving part of my every day life. I'm now on my 7th day of my 2nd round. Really glad to hear about your great last day and excited you'll be back. Until then! :)
