So, today was officially the last day of giving... my how time flies! I spent the day with friends down in Louisville, and while walking around town, I found a few ways to give...
First, I spotted a homeless guy playing the guitar... He was jamming out to a little Georgia Satellites "Keep Your Hands To Yourself" and he made us all smile. I ran across the street and threw a few dollars in his jar. He posed for a few shots for me (I do some photography for fun) and I thanked me for the 'tip'.
Next, we walked past a Starbucks and they had a sign that you could donate coffee to the troops. I had told my friends about my 29 days of giving, and they are actually the ones that saw the sign and said "Kathy! We are going give, too!" All 5 of us bought and donated a bag of coffee as part of http://www.herotohero.us/OperationCaffeination.html (or whatever they are calling it this year). It sure feels good to give. I plan on continuing my giving as part of my daily routine now that my 29 days are up... I encourage everyone to do the same! I will only be blogging about really touching 'gives' post-day-29 :)

I just love what you did for the guitar player! The gift of coffee from you and your friends is a wonderful way to show you care!
