Day 3

I gave several bags to Goodwill of favorite shoes, clothes from the whole family that the kids had outgrown/didn't wear, toys, books. I cleaned the kitchen and folded my parents clothes (they often fold mine, so this feels more of an even exchange). The big gift was my arm warmers from Australia - the last souvenir from that trip with close friends. They're cotton and bright rainbow striped; I gave them to my daughter. She used to wear them as leg warmers as an infant:) I gave myself the gift of decluttering our living space. I was tired and grumpy today - this was a massive undertaking, along the lines of spring cleaning or prepping for a move. The end result feels wonderful.

What a wonderful way to lighten the load so if when you find your permanent  place to land, it will be so much easier. I admire you for your strength and fortitude. I wish you all the best as you are trying to make a better life for  your babies. Don't forget yourself in the process..Hugs..

Great Gives!  Isn't it funny how decluttering our living spaces seems to declutter our lives as well?  At least it always does for me.
