29-Day Giving Challenge

So, today, I was buying a dollar scratch-off ticket with my morning coffee...and thought, why I don't get one for my new office-mate at work?? So that was my "give" of the day. A dollar and a dream, baby...a dollar and a dream.

THEN, another work friend, who I had sent the 29-day link to over the weekend, came into my office, plunked down a CupNoodles (actually, it was a BowlNoodles, but...), and goes, "there! day one!" I was like, huh?? Ha. She knows I eat a lot of those asian ramen noodles things for lunch, and *I* was the recipient of HER "give!" Ha!

So, Day Three of Giving, Day One of GETTING.

Til Tomorrow,
Bettye

PS - neither of us won anything with our scratch-off tickets :-(

Your gesture means a lot for a newcomer. I remember my office's days when I felt so happy anytime the "seniors" did something nice for me.

Sounds like you're having fun with your first few days of the challenge. That's great!
I love the scratch-off give ... actually, I did it too ... I anonymously left one in an envelope taped to my neighbor's door. The dream of winning is definitely an "extra" give.

You introduced your friend to the challenge ... so it seems right that she made you her day one. Very cool!

maybe you didn't win any money, but in the connecting-with-others category, i'd say you were both winners :-D pretty cool that you were your friend's "Day One". Hugs, Dawn
