Day 3, R 2 Fighting the blues!
The weather has been very gloomy here for days. it's hard not to start feeling kinda blue when it's cloudy for so long. So today I took my mom out to lunch....just to get us BOTH out of the house ....fighting those blues!! Then I cleaned house with the help of my 4 yr. old grandson who LOVES to help. (He really is quite good at sweeping the floors!!) Decided I needed to pay him a dollar for all his help. This MADE his day!!......viewing the world through his heart and eyes is SUCH a gift to me!!

What a great give to your Mom....and I'll bet both of you were cheered up by the outing, too.
Aren't those grandkids just so adorable? I can remember when my own daughter begged to help with housework (when she was 6).....and I reminded her of that when she was a teen! ;-)
