My Mom is the greatest. She has 9 children, about 43 grandchildren and probably about 20 great grandchildren. It is certainly hard to keep track. The best thing about her is that she has the ability to keep us all pretty close even though we are spread out all over New England. All of my life (45 years), she has made Sunday dinners for her family. It is such an awesome way for us to stay close. It is usual every Sunday and it wasn't until the last year that she has slowed down and only does it about once every six weeks now. She is 82. Anyway, I make her scrapbooks and this week I wrote a poem about her. I found a website named Bookemon. Here you can write, illustrate and publish your own books. It is a fun, user friendly site. I wrote her poem and had fun putting some cartoon illustrations with it. It is in storybook form. So now I can order it and give it to my Mom for a gift. Also the grandchildren will have fun reading about their own grandma in the book. I hope she likes it. So check out the Bookemon website for some fun ideas for gift giving. Thanks for the cool website to keep track of this giving challenge. :)
