Day 4, Round 2
Today, my gift was a thank you card sent to a dear friend to acknowledge her for all her support.
This morning as I awoke, while still laying in bed, I was contemplating all the things I have to be grateful for.
My first thought was of the comfy bed I was sleeping in. I had been sleeping on the floor for nearly 10 months. My friend heard about it & gave me the bed in their guest room when they were moving. The bed, a set of soft sheets, a bedspread. Felt like Christmas!
A couple months ago, I was ill, no food in the home & she was so sweet. She went to the store, bought groceries, gave me extra cash to get me through.
I thanked her at the time. It seemed important to send her the card today, to express my gratitude.
So, this morning, I knew I would select the perfect e-card to express to her how grateful I am for her friendship & support. I selected the right words to express & Bless her for her kindness.
