Day 40 - February 9th - Time with Nana (R2 D10)
Today my mom drove into town to spend some time with me and the boys while my husband played golf with his friends. We took her to lunch and did some shopping. It was a great afternoon and it's always nice to have an extra hand when out and about with the boys. She was thankful to have time with the boys. It has become clear in the past few weeks that my mom is going to have to go back to work; she retired last year. My dad has to take a lot of medications and that plus the cost of living was just too much. I wish we were in a better position to help them, but at least I can buy lunch and provide her with a little time away.

It sounds like a really nice day out for Grandma to enjoy the boys..and the boys enjoy Grandma:)

Seems like many retirees have to return to work. Very sad.. I know the day was a treat for all and your gifts will be appreciated!
