29-Day Giving Challenge

I have been a busy lady all day.  Church with my husband and three daughters.  Then took them to the pool for some exercise.  Then to the laundromat.  Our washer has been broken for six weeks and when they finally came to fix it Friday we found out the new part is going to cost over 350 dollars.  So frustrating to wait for the repairman only to find out that we may as well buy a new one for that cost>  So for my gift today~ giving to my family and taking care of things.

Also continuing to reflect on this challenge and why God has led me to this website.  I am thinking that I want to encourage anyone who may happen to read my blurbs.  To encourage all to know that God is aware of all that you do.  He gave me this verse this week.  Psalm 33:13  "From heaven, the Lord looks down and sees all mankind;  from his dwelling place, he watches all who live on earth, He who forms the hearts of all, who considers everything they do."

He looks down on little old me?  Wow!  No detail of my ordinary life is missed.  Not just mine but everone elses!  How awesome is that?  He is awesome!

i think that there is a conspiracy among manufacturers to make us buy new stuff instead of fixing the old. first the item breaks down as soon as we make the last payment, and then the repair is more expensive than buying new. it's just crazy!

sounds like you had a really nice Sunday with your family, full of giving and receiving. the circle of life. have a great week! Hugs, Dawn
