Day 5: Inspiring those who inspire

A dear friend of mine was in a very bad car accident not long  ago and has been in therapy since, trying to regain her life with daily activities such as grocery shopping and even reading a book. Before this, she was the person who always found the goodness in others, the kind word to say, etc. And after the accident - she's still that person!! I am always amazed at her goodness and kind heart. She doesn't have to try to give daily, she just exudes this continually. I am always in awe of her. Today, I made it a point to let her know she is an inspiration to me. She makes me want to be a better person by knowing a better person. That saying, "Why do bad things happen to good people?" is so  true for her. Yet, she doesn't see it like that at all. She truly is an amazing woman that people can look up to and try to be like her. I am grateful to have her in my life.
