Day 6 - birthday gift and a "good job"
My son is invited to a 14 yr. old's b-day party this weekend. I was dreading trying to figure out what to get when I realized-I'm working at college bookstore! They have all kinds of cool techy stuff and some isn't too expensive. So I got him some earbuds, a flashdrive case and mini flashlight-done! I also told a student, "way to go!' when he was checking out with his dad and his dad paid. He said, "Thanks Dad," and I told him I don't hear that very often. Dad looked proud.

Those gifts will be the coolest at the party! And that was quick to congratulate the young man in light of his appreciation for his Dad....I'll bet those thank you's are few and far between!
